Note	This photograph was published in the May 21, 1971 issue of the Bayonne Times. The caption reads "Steeple added - A tall, thin, white steeple, surmounted by a cross has recently been added to the Bergen Point Community Church under construction at 5th Street and Newman Avenue. Much of the masonry work has been done both inside and outside the church and windows have been installed. The building will feature a church, as well as a wing (not shown in the picture) with meeting rooms and a pastor's study. Dedication ceremonies are scheduled for Oct. 3 with an open house set for Oct. 9 and 10."
